What Is Coming to neart.ai and Why It Matters
The neart.ai ecosystem currently has one live product — Accounted, our MTD-compliant bookkeeping platform for UK sole traders and landlords. But Accounted is not the destination. It is the first product on a platform designed to support an entire operational ecosystem for businesses. Here is what is coming and why.
The ecosystem spans three pillars: People and Workplace, Finance and Operations, and Intelligence and Growth. Each pillar contains products that address specific operational needs, and all products share the same platform foundation — the same data architecture, security model, compliance framework, and user experience standards.
In the People and Workplace pillar, we are building HR and workforce management designed specifically for UK employment law. Not a generic HR platform adapted for the UK market, but a product built from UK employment legislation up. This means statutory sick pay calculations that are provably correct, holiday entitlement tracking that handles the complexities of part-time and irregular hours, and disciplinary and grievance processes that follow ACAS guidelines by design. Alongside this, a corporate wellness and benefits platform that treats employee wellbeing as operational infrastructure, not a perk.
In the Finance and Operations pillar, commercial finance management extends beyond bookkeeping to cover the financial operations that growing businesses need — management accounts, cash flow forecasting, financial planning, and multi-entity consolidation. Programme and project management brings intelligent delivery management with genuine capacity planning and forecasting, not just task lists with deadlines. CRM provides relationship management that integrates natively with the financial and operational data already in the ecosystem.
In the Intelligence and Growth pillar, advertising and marketing intelligence applies AI where it is genuinely useful — analysing campaign performance, identifying what works, and being honest about what does not. Data and analytics provides cross-product intelligence, leveraging the integrated data architecture to surface insights that are impossible when data lives in separate silos. Content management handles creation, scheduling, and distribution across channels. And education and AI training provides job-market-led learning that teaches skills the market actually values.
The sequencing of these products is not arbitrary. Each product builds on the platform capabilities established by previous products. Accounted established the financial data infrastructure, HMRC integration, and compliance framework. The next products leverage these capabilities while adding their own. This sequential approach means each product launches on a more capable platform than the last.
Why does this matter for businesses? Because operational fragmentation is one of the biggest hidden costs of running a business. Using separate tools for accounting, HR, project management, CRM, and marketing creates data silos, integration complexity, and an incomplete operational picture. Every hour spent copying data between systems, reconciling conflicting records, or building custom integrations is an hour not spent on the business itself.
An integrated ecosystem eliminates this fragmentation. Your financial data, your people data, your operational data, and your customer data are all in one place, governed by one security model, and accessible through one interface. Reports span functions. Automation crosses boundaries. The operational picture is complete.
This is not a promise for the distant future. The platform exists. The first product is live. The roadmap is defined and sequenced. Each product launch extends the ecosystem's capability and increases the value for every user. The vision is ambitious — a complete operational platform for businesses that deserve better tools. The execution is disciplined — one product at a time, each built to the same standard, each launched complete.
Follow the build. We are doing this in the open because we believe that transparency builds trust, and trust is the foundation of everything we do.
